Is the service free?
Yes, we provide this service free of charge under our terms of use. There are no additional costs for uploading and updating voice samples within the scope we provide.

Why do I have to create an account?
We want to offer you the opportunity to edit and update your profile at any time. It's important that you keep your profile up-to-date so that we and our customers are always up-to-date with your offerings. In order to correctly assign your profile, we need to ensure that it is actually your own profile. When you log into your account, this assignment is done automatically.

Should I create an account even though I don't have a voice sample yet?
Registering only makes sense if you can then create your profile and upload voice samples. We regularly remove empty accounts to keep the system efficient. There's no need to rush into "parking" an account for later. Once you've got everything together, you can get started at any time.

What does “professional standard” mean?
This service is freely accessible, so we first manually review uploads from new accounts for content and quality. We want to ensure that the content is publishable and meets standard studio audition standards. This isn't primarily about audio quality—you can certainly record voice samples at home—but rather whether the audio samples are relevant to the audition requirements. If you're a professional already speaking in studios, your voice samples will usually automatically meet these criteria. If you're a "new voice" with potential, it's best to listen to some examples on our site for guidance.

Will my personal information be published?
No, your personal information will neither be displayed nor shared. It is used solely for us to contact you with any inquiries. Your public profile will only display your name, photo, and state. This also includes anything related to speaking and languages.

What benefit does this have for the studio?
We would like to offer our clients the option of independently selecting languages for their projects, if they wish. Therefore, we are making our service available to everyone free of charge. We would like to handle the production ourselves, as well as the booking and contact with you voice talent. As some of you may remember, we used the voice sample upload internally for several years. However, we thought it would be a good idea to make it freely available. This way, everyone benefits.

The voice samples listed here are intended to help assess and select the appropriate voice(s) for audio productions. They were provided to us by the respective speakers. The voice samples are protected by copyright. They may only be used for internal demonstration purposes. Any other use is expressly prohibited. This includes, in particular, copying and distributing the audio files, public playback in streaming, television and radio services, in podcasts, and in all other public and non-public events. The use of the audio files for creating or learning AI-based language models or similar technologies is expressly prohibited. The voice samples published on our website are intended solely for the assessment of the voices of the listed speakers.
